Burlesque 101 is a triannual class sessions, perfect for the beginner to burlesque. No matter your shape, size or experience all are welcome. Burlesque 101 is an introduction and gives our students a taste of what burlesque performing is. Burlesque 101 is a 10-week course that will cover the history of burlesque, creation of a persona, burlesque hair and makeup, costuming, bump and grind dance movement, as well as a recital for a intimate live audience.
Students will learn a group routine for performance at an optional intimate recital at the end of class. Students also work with instructors to create a solo performance piece as well (optional). Class size is limited to ensure a personalized learning experience.

Burlesque 101 is a ten-week session, three hour classes Saturdays from 3p-6p tentative start May 16 through August 1 (no class 6/13 or 7/4) There is an 80% attendance rate required, please review your calendar and the dates/times before pre-registering. |

Full Tuition is due on or before the 2nd class, but students must secure their spot by posting a $50 non-refundable deposit - any payment plans must be discussed and approved in advance. Payment plans are subject to a surcharge, and late payments will incur fees.
